Javascript can be useful for creating multiple items on webpages. Listed below are just a few of those items.

  1. Javascript can be useful in creating forms that are used on webpages. These forms can either collect information from the user or let the user send the webpage owner a message. It then can send a message back to the user saying that the task was completed.

  2. Another use for Javascript are website search boxes, mainly the boxes that try to guess what you want to find based on what you have entered so far within the search box. Much like when you start typing into Google and they guess what you want to search for.

  3. The last use for Javascript on a website is animation. Almost anytime an item is animated on a webpage there is Javascript behind the scenes running it. An example of this can be seen on Run4Tiger
